This weekend, Lifetime will be showing the two-part miniseries The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, whose celebrity continues to fascinate long after her tragic death in the summer of 1962.
In 1988, Phoebe Legere, a performance artist with classical music training at the prestigious Julliard School, composed a song in tribute to her enigmatic idol. The music video, which we present below, was featured on an episode of Image Union and is now preserved in our archive. |

Since the video was a about Phoebe, you would never know Marilyn was her idol. Seems as though just about anyone can get into Julliard these days. What a pitiful excuse for a performance artist.
