“Too Late For Me” aired on Image Union in 1979. William Avelo’s film was produced, written, shot, acted, and edited entirely by students at Roberto Clemente High School. It is a cautionary tale about street gangs in Humboldt Park, Chicago. Check out the full film here.
It will screen alongside other Humboldt Park footage from different eras, including our 1978 footage of Puerto Rican nationalists.
