Over thirty local archives, research centers, and cultural institutions in the Chicago area will offer special events open to members of the public on October 6-8, 2016.This year’s Chicago Open Archives theme, Yours to Explore, invites Chicagoans interested in history and cultural heritage to explore the stories that local collections tell.
While most of our videos are available for the public to watch on our website at any time, our physical archive is not usually open to the public. However, this special event will give visitors an opportunity to tour our facilities and see a short screening of some highlights from the collection.
What: A behind-the-scenes tour of Media Burn Archive, including a short screening of highlights from the collection.

When: Friday October 7th, 2016, 11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Maximum capacity: 12 visitors
Admission is free. No registration necessary. Free parking in lot.
