      Constantine “Gus” Alpogianis recently passed away at 84, leaving an indelible mark on the Chicago restaurant landscape. In honor of “Gus,” we take a look back at his debut restaurant, the iconic Palace Grill. Gus became a co-owner of the Palace Grill that sits on West Madison Street in 1955.
