  Raw footage from the 1976 documentary “Making It In Hollywood,” which follows several actors as they attempt to break into the movie business. This tape features excerpts from “Making It” raw #67 & 68 that have been color corrected to partially remove greenish cast on the camera original. In these clips actor Robert Walden discusses how he prepares for certain roles, and how he discovered his love for acting.

This tape features transfers of still photo slides taken around Hollywood. Included are the signs for Schwab’s drugstore, the Chateau Marmont, Dino’s Lounge. Also features various billboards on Sunset Blvd, including one for the film “Marathon Man,” one advertising Barry White’s latest song “Is This Whatcha Want?,” Marlboro Cigarettes, Standard Oil, Salem Cigarettes, The Bee Gees, and Stevie Wonders’s latest record “Songs in the Key of Life.”

  TV news report about arraignment of the FALN suspects. Protesters at the Dirksen Federal Building. Presiding over the trial was Federal Judge Thomas McMillan. We see the court drawings while the reporter describes the trial. The defendants refused to recognize the court.

  Raw footage from the 1976 documentary “Making It In Hollywood,” which follows several actors as they attempt to break into the movie business. This tape features footage from a Grayline sightseeing bus tour of various Hollywood attractions. All footage is from inside the bus as it cruises past the stars’ homes in Beverly Hills, and its driver dispenses bits of trivia.
