Raw footage for The 90’s election specials. Skip Blumberg visits the Clinton/Gore national campaign headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas. He talks to the (mostly) very young volunteers and employees about their interest and role in the campaign and also to some veterans about how campaigns are changing with technology.
Raw tape for The 90’s election specials. President George H.W. Bush speaks to the Polish National Alliance at the Hyatt in Chicago. The camera is situated very far back in the room and doesn’t capture anything very interesting. The camera was also briefly turned off during the classic moment from this event, when Polish National Alliance President Ed Moskal calls Bush a “freedom farter.” Since Bush only appears for a few minutes, the majority of the tape is just footage of the press.

Raw tape for The 90’s election specials. Bill Clinton visits Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Drive in the South Side of Chicago. Rev. Joseph Well is the pastor. This tape begins with Clinton’s speech to the congregation. The sound echoes throughout the church and is hard to understand. Afterwards, he stays for more gospel music, looking relaxed and charismatic.
