Black and white film documenting a rapidly fading Jewish community in rural Romania. The film is treated like a diary piece with the photographer recounting his experiences living in the village in voiceover while we see images of daily life and of the elderly people who make up the town.

The first, called, “Universal Hotel” is a diary / documentary about one filmmaker’s research of Nazi medical experiments in the prison camp at Dachau. The second, “Growing Up Multiracial” is a conversation between a group of people with multiracial backgrounds.
Andrew Jones travels to North Korea with a group of African Americans called “People to People” in an effort to learn more about the country. Once there, his mission for the tape becomes dispelling negative American myths about North Korea.

Episode of Image Union featuring the work “Love Tapes” by Wendy Clarke. “Love Tapes” is a collection of videos from an experiment in which people were allowed to sit alone in a cubicle, only with a video camera and monitor, and talk about love for three minutes. Hundreds of people participated in this experiment, and this collection features 8 full length tapes.
