  This video contains raw footage shot for “Five Day Bicycle Race,” a project comprised of live in-studio commentary and taped edited coverage of the 1976 Democratic National Convention in New York City. Produced by independent videomakers calling themselves The Image Union (including many members of TVTV and Videofreex), it aired on Manhattan Cable for three hours per night for five days during the convention. This video features a Jimmy Carter press conference at the Americana Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

  Skip Blumberg’s video short documenting the Orange County chapter of the SurfRider Foundation, an environmental group dedicated to the conservation of the world’s beaches. Members, many of which are surfers, discuss pollution of the waters and hold a protest against proposed jettys in their area of coastline.  Blumberg documents the protest, plus interviews surfers and members of the foundation.

  Videomaker Esti Marpet enters Nagorno Karabakh in hopes of further understanding the conflict between ethnic Christian Armenians and mostly Muslim Azerbaijan which claims the land of Karabakh as its own. Marpet gives an overview of the conflict,  spends time with the Karabakh military fighting for liberation, visits the military clinic, and speaks with refugees.

  Archival footage on Vito Marzullo. “They’re liars, all the way through!” Research for documentary on Alderman Vito Marzullo. Tape contains various clips concerning scandals that embroiled Vito Marzullo during his time on the Chicago City Council. A highlight of the tape includes an angry confrontation between Marzullo and a reporter who accused him of taking bribes. Audio is inconsistent.
