Daley. Weinberg coaxes sound bytes out of Rakove, used as transitions in the documentary’s final cut. They discuss Marzullo’s strengths and weaknesses, his day-to-day operations as part of the “machine” and how the Chicago City Council really governs.

The audio is fairly poor throughout and switches from channel to channel before coming through both for the second half of the tape.

A highlight of the tape includes an angry confrontation between Marzullo and a reporter who accused him of taking bribes. Audio is inconsistent.
