  Footage for the documentary “Voices of Cabrini.” Shot between 1995-1999, it documented the Cabrini Green redevelopment project proposed and carried out by the city of Chicago. This video includes footage of construction workers cleaning up the rubble of Robbins Barber shop, followed by footage shot before the demolition of a conversation between Robbins Barber shop patrons about race relations, and footage from a little league baseball game in the neighborhood.

  Video from the documentary “Voices of Cabrini.” Shot between 1995-1999, it documented the Cabrini Green redevelopment project proposed and carried out by the city of Chicago. This video features footage from Cabrini activist Marion Stamps’ funeral. Congressman Bobby Rush speaks at the service. Towards the end of the video, there is an interview with a Cabrini resident who had lived in the area since the 1960s.

Mark Pratt also takes the filmmakers on a tour of the neighborhood.

  Raw video shot for “Voices of Cabrini.” Shot between 1995-1999, it documented the Cabrini Green redevelopment project proposed and carried out by the City of Chicago. This video features preparations for a large pro-resident rally and then a failed meeting with city officials in Near North High School. The crowd gets rowdy and makes it difficult for David Tkac and Adrian Bryant to address them. Tkac compares photographs of the Cabrini-Green intersections with sketches of proposed redevelopment for the intersections. Also in the video are interviews with journalists and residents.

  Raw video shot for “Voices of Cabrini.” Shot between 1995-1999, it documented the Cabrini Green redevelopment project proposed and carried out by the City of Chicago. The video features preparations for a large pro-resident rally and then a failed meeting with city officials in Near North High School. The demonstrators walk to the high school, but the potential meeting between them, Jesse White, and Alderman Walter Burnett goes awry when the crowd becomes too incensed.
