Produced by independent videomakers calling themselves The Image Union (including many members of TVTV and Videofreex), it aired on Manhattan Cable for three hours per night for five days during the convention. The segment features some of the happenings on the streets outside Madison Square Garden. The piece is followed by raw footage of the videomakers speaking with various politicians about Jimmy Carter and his nomination for the presidency.

In this video, civil liberties Lawyer Hal Weiner discusses the implementation of radical loitering laws in New York City during the convention that were designed to deter prostitution. The videomakers also attend a meeting of a feminist group against the new laws. Towards the end of the tape, the videomakers speak with numerous people on the street about their thoughts on prostitution.

In this video, videomaker Bart Friedman visits a police tow truck lot to speak with a few individuals about their towing plight. We also see footage from a large rally being held over higher wages and contracts for hospital workers.

  Raw tape for The 90’s election specials. Bill and Hillary Clinton take a quick tour of The Bagel, a Jewish deli and restaurant on Devon Avenue in Chicago. They shake hands and pose for a photo-op with an oversized bagel. Patrons and workers at the restaurant are asked their thoughts of Bill Clinton and Paul Tsongas.
