Many people are beginning to file in and take their seats. Eventually, it cuts to a shot of a parade float for Rostenkowski, adorned with red, white, and blue pastels and sparkles. A group of children are seen in front of the float, excitedly waiting for the evening’s festivities to begin. On the float, there is a large concoction that is holding a number of different pictures of Rostenkowski in Washington. Patriotic music is being blasted from loud speakers that are sitting a top of a large truck. The camera eventually focuses in on a picture of Rostenkowski and President Jimmy Carter shaking hands.
